Sooo- I have 91 sealed evelopes with errors ranging from 1943-45. Although, it would be like Christmas day to rip open all the envelopes.. I would first like to know- Is there any value in war nickel errors?

Just like anything else...Depends on what it is. You won't know unless you open them up and show us.

I am not a big error guy. I went to a coin show a month ago and out of curiosity I picked up a few war nickels with lamination errors. I picked them up for around five bucks a piece as I recall...... You seriously haven't opened the envelopes yet? That's like letting a warm apple pie sit in the kitchen without digging in!

I wouldn't be able to eat, sleep, or anything else with those sitting around unopened lol

Will have to see the actual coins in order to determine if there are actual mint errors or not. I hope you don't post every single coin in one shot :wacky:

Where did you acquire them from?
Value is determined by type of error.

Once I get out of the Chinese buffet, Ill start posting! Lol I actually went thru bags of Jeffersons and separated and put into the envelopes. However, I did crack into some and I got a thrill!

32 is just damage. The others so far are laminations which are fairly common on war nickels.

Welllll- As I opened my lil presents I will be brutally honest and say,”WTF was I thinking?!” The majority were laminations so I won’t waste anyone’s time posting them. I do have a few 1942’s with side mint marks (below) But that’s all folks! Next up- Mercury dimes :)
