    What are the spots ? ( Can not see with naked eye )
    Also, looks like doubling on the 9.
    Is this cud below the date?

    They're just carbon spots. They are a result of the copper reacting to the air and the environment. These spots are very common on newly-minted cents.

    They can also be "wash" spots from an improper rinse at the Mint. This is also very common on zinc cents.

    Looks like zinc rot to me, around the date ...
