    I hope not.

I was hoping for much closer, more pixelated and falsely visual computer processed images.

Keith a 1943 cent would have wheat on the reverse, be it, steel or copper and your coin has a Lincoln Memorial.
Pattyman has been at this 40 years and seldom if ever is mistaken so put the coin in your collection and consider it damaged. Welcome to coin talk.

The problem isn't his original post, (regardless of how ridiculous and improbably it was). He got a reasonable explanation with a little education. He then went on to say that the person who helped him couldn't see his improbable error even though the pics are terrible.

so what's the explanation for the wheat ears if you see them then there's the explanation but you must not seeing them so I can see why you stated that.

Well I'll tell you what and I'll have a professional tell me explanation of what I see on there.I'll tell you what just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's not there

It's the typical character of you all to think because of something that is highly rare is not possible.

If you say it enough, it becomes real (at least for you).

If you want to get it certified use this form ==> https://www.pcgs.com/onlinesubmission

or Go take it to a "professional". Good luck.

There are no wheat ears on this. You do not understand clashes and there is no way this is a 1943 cent, steel or copper. Telling us that it has to be the rarity (or impossibility, based on a person's perspective) you want it to be is illogical, since 'seeing' something doesn't mean it exists and it is more than equally explained by pareidolia, like when we 'see' animals in the cloud shapes, we don't take it as absolute evidence that bears, dogs, bunnies, etc. actually are floating and shifting in and out of shape in the air.

And then using a logical fallacy such as your ad hominem attack ("It's the typical character of you all to think because of something that is highly rare is not possible.") to try to prove you are correct is very inappropriate as it proves nothing and remains not germane.

You have a choice. You can continue to assert how right you are and how wrong everyone is on here and submit it to PCGS or NGC to have them authenticate it. If it comes back as what you think it is, you can sell it for a bunch of money.

As it stands, as it does for so many examples of extreme rarities people think they have, it is at the point that authentication by a major tpg (PCGS/NGC) is necessary to make it real. You think it is, go submit it.

Do yourself a huge favor and quit looking at coins under supermagnification. Use a maximum 5x magnifier. Otherwise, you will get distortion and see all sorts of things that aren’t there, such as in this case.
