1922?

    I found this coin today looking through my pennies and it's looks to me like a 1922 then I flipped it over and remember the strong back. Let me know what you think it could be worth.

    Welcome OP. Finding old coins in your pocket is exciting. Only thing is that when they are in the shape yours is in, they are face value coins. I would hang on to it though if nothing else to keep the history close at hand.

    It looks to be a 1927. The part of the fourth number is too squared to be a 2.

    get a sad jar. a sad jar is a jar or coffee mug where you put coins that would have been nice to keep but are too badly damaged to be worth much (if anything) over face
