1964 nickel full steps

    Hard to tell off your blurry pictures. But above the T in MONTICELLO looks to be smooshy and leads me to think it is not full steps.

    I have a feeling it is full steps, but judging by the pics, I'm thinking it is a proof. And all proofs would have the full steps.

    It does look like mint packaging from the little that we can see.

    If it is a proof, it is disqualified from full steps designation.
    Must be a business strike between MS 60 and MS 70.
    And then recent coins all have full steps because they reworked the dies,
    so those are no big deal either. I forget the year, I think in the 2000's.

    Thanks a bunch y’all. I will have to take better pictures. He did say it was uncirculated, but nothing about being a proof coin.

    1964 was a bad year for nickles.
    If you have a FS one, that would be well above average.

    Can't tell from your pics.

    Yes we need clear photos but it doesn't appear to me that this is full steps. The bottom step looks off on the left center side.
