1944 Cent DDO

I thought maybe this is 1944-WDDO-21, but not the same die markers. No match on Coppercoins. ??

@Rick Stachowski I'm not certain if I'm seeing notching or if I want to see notching and so I'm seeing it...

 

That's what caught my eye too. I think it's notched on the 2nd 4.

 

Truthfully, I think it just took a hit in its 75 years of circulation, but rick will know better than I do.

Cheap USB microscope from Amazon. A little sliver of wood wedge under the cloth gives a little 3D image with better detail.

Looks a lot like it. Not die crack on the back, but maybe an earlier die stage. Thanks Rick.

It's been a few years ago when I got it. This is close to it. I had some issues with the software that came with it. Downloaded an upgraded generic software packet and it worked.
