LOL. A listing price iis NOT a "selling" price. I see a lot of stuff listed for $1,000,000 accepting offers.

Your cent appears to be just damaged, it has been worn down, either intentionally or accidentally. It is hardly in "perfect" condition, look at how much wear is on the portrait and the damage is especially visible along the edge by IN GOD WE TRUST. What does the reverse look like?

Definitely damaged. It appears to have been intentionally worn down.

The red book does not list it at 2.5 ! It's 3.11 all the way to 1982.

A Lincoln cent that is struck on a dime planchet,
can't have rims that go all the way around unbroken,
    because of the size difference.

How bout if the coin rings like sliver when dropped on hard surface. Copper and zinc just kind of thud?

You'll have to post photos. The silver test is not infallible.
If it is a cent, it's almost not going to be on a silver dime planchet.
It's possible. Size, weight, color and age will all help to determine that status.
For example if it is the same size and weight and color as a penny, it's a penny. If it is from 1965-2020 it's not a silver planchet.
