Handle It is simply what my family called me to distinguish between my maternal aunt and my paternal aunt both named 'Jean'. It is not the name I had been given at birth. jeankay
Possibly... it is believed to have had the largest proportional brain size of any known dinosaur... probably still talking ostrich-level intelligence though, not chimpanzee-level. However some have hypothesized that had dinosaurs not gone extinct, the troodon or a dinosaur similar to it could have possibly evolved to sentience eventually. Someone made a model of what that may look like, and it looked rather eerily humanoid. Still just a best guess though, a lot of people assume evolution to sentience would result in a realtively humanoid creature merely because humans are the only sentient creature we know of so far... seems to be a trend towards anthrocentrism when considering hypothetical intelligent creatures. However that picture somewhat stuck in my mind and it's been sort of a sub-concious identity for me since... use it in most screen names online, and it's even on my car's license plate.
One of my hobbies is paleontology and I love digging bones, out in the South Dakota BadLands during my spare time. Take Care Ben
When I told my wife I was into coin collecting, I called myself a "numatist" ( I know, I know, it's "numismatist" ), but anyway she then started calling me newman and it morphed into "hello, newman" from Seinfeld. "Hello, Jerry"
It's acutally pretty simple. Coinmelt is my domain name On some forums I go by chill (Christopher Hill)/chill20 or hilldev (Hill Development) So if you see coinmelt, chill(20), or hilldev its me Sorry about that GDJMSP
That was my dream before I entered college and my folks FORCED me into business. Damn I envy you Ben... on so many levels. As far as "topcover" is concerned, there are two meanings. I'm a big WWII Warbirds buff. I love the P47 Thunderbolt and the P51 Mustang and during the war both airplanes used to escort bombers over Europe and they provided, "top cover". Secondly, back in the hightech heyday, I was pretty full of myself and thought I was "cool as the top covers" of the bed. That all abruptly changed when I got married and had a kid. Now just call me "old dog with poor self-esteem". :kewl:
Mine is my wifes first initial D for Debbi and our last name Ready. Dready. Just wouldn't have worked with my first initial, J for John.
Cause my boat (a Baja) is Blue. Its fun, fast, and relaxing. Just like coins. Well all but the fast part.
I'm a Blue Nose because I've been above the Arctic Circle--to the North Pole, in fact--while in the sub service. I have NO idea why I chose to use it as my name.
My dad was stationed in Antartica for awhile in the Navy. I was bon in Iceland because of that and know first hand that the Artic Circle is a very cool place.
I thought I had posted in this thread long ago but can't find it so here it is. Ziggy..can't help being called that with a last name like Ziegler... the 9 is because I am ninth of 12 children. Kind of the star trek borg... 9 of 12 Richard
