2016 i think this is struck through grease

    I think this is struck through grease or very ddd like grease waves 2016 P is smushed/distorted the entire coin looks distorted

    so grease does not leave a rippling effect like next to the eye's or around the edge of the coin?

    Not really, it leaves the area with the grease weak or missing but otherwise normal.

    Often with a grease filled die, your coin will have some letters that are completely missing, and others that are perfectly formed.
