This will probably be the fate for AU's but it's entirely possible the Uncs will be underpriced early on. I think the Uncs will start stupid high, fall to something that's reasonable ($25), and then climb gradually for years. Of course it depends on how many are intercepted.
Here we go, let the fun begin. Here's one starting at $500. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Lowel...m443a7069b1:g:HJYAAOSwHPpcqP9D&frcectupt=true
I don't know, isn't this too soon for a circulation find? Maybe they're going to get picked before they make it to circulation.
Well people are obviously going to try to intercept these bags at first point of contact with the banking system, buying thousands of dollars worth of Quarters. Just like CRH, they will just return the non-W mintmarks.
I am trying to figure how that would work. I am about a hundred miles from one of the city’s that with have two shipments....... According to the article, they are “mixed bags” being sent by contracted carriers. I have no idea how many compromise a mint bag but I would guess in the thousands of dollars.... Is that bag then given to a federally contracted location to be rolled and distributed at random to various regional banks?
Geez that one looks terrible. I’d say it’s a 64 max. I think the higher grade ones (I’m thinking like 67 level) could be pretty rare.
Is this the thread where we try to track mile by mile where each bag of quarters is? "Bag #52 on Highway 278 northbound" "2 unopened boxes purchased from Arvest Bank"
Got voice mail that a box it waiting for me at my favorite bank. Getting it tomorrow. A 2nd box is due at a different branch later in the week. <crossing fingers>
Oh stop. You you gave me the business when i wanted the mint to circulate some doubled die W cents for fun. They must of heard me. Now we got quaters to chase. You know you wanna. Join in and celebrate
