2014 S Baseball proof Half Dollar

I have not read much about that " U.S. Curved coin" 2014-S Baseball Half Dollar that was so Hyped up about by the mint. I bit the hook and bought one expecting the "Sports-nuts" (no offence to sports enthusiast in the world me not being one) to pounce on these and make them a big thing. Don't seem to have made a big splash, anyone out there thinking the same thing?

I thought they were gimmicky at the time and I still do.

 

Gots one of the 'dollar' coins as a pocket piece..........

 

I bought one just because.

 

I bought one in that batch simply because of my baseball fandom. I wish my heirs lots of luck in unloading it.

 

I bought my limit and flipped them for 2x what I paid. Only bought the silver dollars and gold half eagles.
The ones with "signatures" of dead players and others were a gimmick.

 

Dead poets too........
