I have started searching nickel rolls the pass couple weeks by just starting with a few rolls at a time. The first bank I went to I got 10 rolls and of that 10 rolls I found 3 rolls of pre 1960's. Nothing real special mainly 50's with a few 40's all G to VG grade, but the second bank I bought 20 rolls and found 11 rolls of per 1960's with::eek:

    2-1938
    9-1939
    1-1941 S Lg S
    2-1950 D
    1-1954 S/S
    1-1955 D/S
    240-40's
    304-50's

Not a bad couple of weeks.

Just finished another box. I got 5 wheats (all time low) and 8 Canadians (I almost Have an entire roll). What should I do with them? I also Pulled 4 rolls of pre 82's. I am having fun hoarding these.

I hope to get another box, maybe tomorrow.

I bought two rolls of halves yesterday, the first time I ever searched halves, and got a 1958 Franklin! When I saw silver when I tore back the paper I thought 40% Kennedy at best. Never would have guessed Franklin. Between that and the buffalo nickel I pulled at work last week, I think I should get more rolls and see if my luck continues.:)

    Statequarters!

[IMG]I have been searching for all sorts of deals...The best I have found for Statequarters and Presidential Dollars are at coinland.com. I collect these types, and they are worth every cent. Things are becoming sold out, can anyone find a $25 dollar mint set of Massachusetts Statequarters? Those I have a hard time coming across.:kewl:

I picked up a box of halves at the bank today. So far I have been through 1/2 of the box and got 9 40% silvers and 1 1964. I also picked out 2 uncirc, clads. Hopefully there will be more silver in there - I got skunked on my last two boxes.

Congrats thats a nice lot to find. I am not having any luck on the silver search..though I have only gone thru one box of pennies and found one piece of silver...

Good luck on the 2nd half of the box!:kewl:

The 2nd half of the box had 7 more 40% silvers and one more 90% 1964 Kennedy. I also kept one more uncirc clad, and found a 1988-S proof. So total silver was 16 40%, 2 90%, 1 proof and 3 uncircs. This would be the the best box I have searched thus far.
After being skunked on two boxes in a row - I was thinking about giving up - now I can't wait to order another box!
I am still looking to find a Ben or a Walker - and dare I say a Barber?!

WTG TC! I am going to resume my addiction to rolled coins next week, I have been saving for a coin show this weekend. Hoping to find a decent 1916d Mercury to complete my collection.

    Happy Hunting!

    S
