    A lucky bulk bag cherrypick, which cost me mere pennies as such.

    Got somewhere around $200 (give or take twenty bucks) when I sold the coin on eBay.

    There was some other better Danish material in the bulk bag as well.

    @Mark Metzger & @Aethelred- I'll bet y'all can guess who that bag came from. ;)

    Very nice looking 2 ore and a very handsome profit. From Denmark (make that Poland since coin_nut got his piece in while I was rambling here) we head off to Germany. I absolutely love the various eagles the the BRD used on their five mark and ten mark coins.

    The Brown Northern Frog Eagle is known to hover above wetlands in Germany and northeastern Europe, snacking upon dragonflies and marsh midges, which it catches with a flick of its long tongue. How interesting to see it portrayed on an 18th century coin. Today they are of course a highly endangered species.

    Sweden to Lithuania. I have a 1550 half-groschen like this in my present Eclectic Box collection which is graded PCGS MS63, but I've played it in this thread, so here is the one I had earlier. (Also gave a circulated 1558 example away in February's giveaway- they're fun coins.)
