GTG: 1943 S Steel Cent

    Nice Steel Cent! I would have guessed 66 in a heart beat, but I was not quick enough to get my guess in this time around. Nice score. :)

    Edited to add:

    Those '43-S Steel Cents are known to come in a PL finish. The PL designated coins by NGC almost all have the heavy die polish marks. I know some people are distracted by them, but I really love them.

    Does a PL steel cent have the same proof appearance as any other or is it more matted? I have never seen a reflective Steel cent. Unless im blind and have one in my hand ha

    They have a reflective surface just like any other PL designated coin. They are out there, it's just that there are not very many of them.
