take a closer pic for the ear lobe area..that would help expert look more clear the they can have some opinion..1984 and 1985 the ear lobe most likely got that mark right there..

It's not my coin so it doesn't bother me if I'm wrong and appreciate being corrected but at least help the OP out and give him a little more help rather than have him look through all the listed doubled dies. Thank you.

Best way to learn is by comparing the coin in question to other known doubled dies.

Your reply that I know nothing was insulting and uncalled for. Insults are given by the dull and ignorant but since you know it all, you already know you're at the top of that class.

I'm really confused! I never insulted anyone and I'm sorry if you felt that I had

You didn't insult me. I apologize to you if you think that remark was meant for you. It wasn't meant towards you. The rude, discourteous member That I replied to knows who he is. Having seen some of his past posts I'm not the first member of Coin Talk he has disrespected. All I can do is ignore anything else he ever posts which were never helpful in the first place. @LCober please remain a member of Coin Talk as the majority of members are willing to help other members.

Its absolutely fine!!! My husband thinks I'm a nerd but I love LMC!! I am just super excited that it is a double ear, and I found it on my own, lol!! I'm not in it to gain financially, I just love pennies from 60's to 80's and I'm not sure why, plus I love the searching!!
