4 new stars

    went to a coin shop and bought this ugly 1963 $5 star note but i got a $1 2001 star note in my change, and today a coworker call me and he had 2 star $100 and a $1 he ask if i wanted them i said yes and here are the scans.

    Wow nice notes! THe $100 looks to be in great shape! The 2001 is a nice low serial number, so congrats on that. And I like that 63 $5! I wonder why they decided to change the place of the stars from the front to the back?

    Because they decided to use the leading letter for the Federal District that "issued" the note.

    And I don't think that $5 is ugly, it just needs some tender loving, it came from an abused home.
