Is a coin I may purchase if genuine

 

With coins like this I always try to check the metal content if possible.

 

How is it that the obverse can be so pristine when the reverse is so full of chatter?

 

Is there such a thing as a 1910 Yunnan Tael? That may be a good place to start.

why is the picture so bad? OP, you do know that chinese crown sized coins go for a ton of money right? Why is this unslabbed? Also you can buy tons of these fake ones at alibaba including in silver too so I'd be very careful

 

It’s made in China for sure. The question is when. My guess is during the Xi Jinping dynasty.

 

It's Yunnan province muled with Anhui Province. Who knows if this is one of those metals laced with lead and arsenic. I would not even touch it.
