    Hi,

So, I might have a match?
I know its zinc. I know there is mechanical doubling. I know the coin has some wear.
I'm not looking for a "shelf" answer. If you dont believe say something, not just. "No". Or, "zinc".
...and I dont want to show the entire coin, yet. I'm quite certain there is more than one type of doubling and some is extreme.
I am only talking about what appears to be die doubling, not the shadows behind the letters.
    Thanks!

    Did you read my post?
I'm trying to avoid the dreaded, "pmo" or "zinc claded means everything is bogus" answers.
There is a lot of doubling not related to true doubling.

There is an option when posting coins. It says full image. Click that or it will post thumbnails.
Also it is best to post full size photos of both the obverse and reverse.
That is what I am asking for and you will find most of us ask for. Thanks
Small partials of the coin do not work unless we ask for them.
It is much easier to see the doubling in full.

I assume that the 1st, 3rd, 5th & 8th images are plate files from another source. If that is the case, your coin is not the same.

Good answer Chris I was thinking and wondering the same.
It is difficult to follow these little thumbnails.
But it seems that you have either:
    A) Answered his question.
    or
    B) He is actually getting full size photos of the whole coin.

The easiest way to ID a 1983 DDR is the ONE CENT. Why did you post everything but that.

It is apparent that you don't quite understand the different types of doubling. I highly suggest you read Worthless Doubling section on Wexler's site

    http://doubleddie.com/228401.html

Once you understand it, it will be pretty simple to determine what is wrong with your coin.

If you aren’t “looking for a shelf answer”, then why don’t you save us some time and tell us what answer you want. There is reason you’re getting these answers to your posts. It’s because you are posting machine doubled coins. MD and Die Deterioration coins are common. True DD are rare. Please learn how to tell the difference before demanding members only provide answers that make you happy

No worries, It's an easy click is all I am saying. If you want some answerers to your questions don't you think you should conform to the audience you are asking. You are in need here not US.
