    Next: Hmmm, lately there seems to be a trend to posting a next that only the poster collects so I'll suggest the next coin should be an unusual combination of two (or more) features on one coin either of which would make the coin special to you all by itself.

    Lovely stater, @dougsmit !

    This one has three such features:

    1. It shows evidence of ancient coin manufacturing techniques, specifically that the flan was cast en chapelet, that is, using open or closed molds in which a number of mold hollows were connected by channels. Clear evidence for this method exists; the runners that connected the flans were not always completely removed.

    2. I collect lifetime issues of Faustina I and this is one.

    3. I collect Juno in all of her various guises, such as Juno Regina, Juno Lucina, Juno Martialis, etc.
