These just arrived at NGC. They were delivered by the post office on 3/26 and it took NGC until April 3rd to actually open the package. Today 2 of the submissions were actually cataloged. Looking forward to the results in a few weeks! 26 coins in total and a little bit of everything.
Oh man. I could use that 3 cent piece for my registry. That's a beauty! You've got a fun submission there.
Definitely a cool variety of coins! I've always wanted to submit coins for grading, just because of the anticipation of the grades coming back! Good luck!
Love the variety of coins you sent. Good luck with the results. I sent in a submission to NGC which arrived Monday April 1 (no fooling!) It still doesn't show received. I called and says they are backed up and will probably show in the system Monday. Wonder why the big delays? Must be a flood of submissions.
I got the image of the California gold back yesterday afternoon. I have to say that I am not impressed with how it came out. The coin is extremely reflective in hand, almost prooflike, and the toning on the gold is very beautiful and pronounced and neither of those features show in the photos. I much prefer the PCGS tru views. I can see a huge difference in the quality of imagery between the pcgs truview I posted above of a 2 cent piece and the one below of the California gold. The luster is non existant in the ngc image. I've also noticed that the turnaround time for their ancients have significantly increased for standard grading. I have everything being shipped back to me at one time so that's going to hold everything up until June probably... bummer.
I sent a message back to NGC and they sent me this image, which I think looks better than the last one.
