Is a 21st Century Type Set something common? I really want to start a type set, but I have seen the struggles of many people in completing this costly feat. I have heard of 20th Century Type Sets and Complete Type Sets, but not really 21s Century Type Sets. So I decided that maybe newer coins wold be cheaper, and they are MUCH cheaper. So I went on eBay, and in about one hour, I put 14 coins that you would find in the average wallet (no commemoratives, bullion, gold, etc.) into my watchlist that were all PCGS PR69DCAM or PR70DCAM that would be affordable. In the end, I came out with a number higher than $100 but lower than $200, which was great. So my question is, is it normal to make (and probably resell as a set) a 21st Century Type Set? Thanks a ton!
Yes, sure! I've thought about it in the past. Would be kind of interesting; but some people have different definitions of what a type set should include-- such as bullion and commemoratives.
few years back i was checkin out different albums when i seen this whitman album an realized that i had most of the coins for it. so i bought it and started filling holes. turned out i had all the coins needed and now have another nice full album in my collection. here are the coins i used..
I am in the Southern US where we have plenty of odd word choices, but I have a client from Canada who regularly says "I seen the Doctor about this" or "I seen him about that." The attorney working on this with me assumes his grammatical choice is due to a lack of education. Any chance using "seen" improperly is a Northern or Canadian thing?
I did one a few years ago. All in a Capitol Plastic holder whic I placed in a frame and have it hanging.
