Proof coins are tough because the color often doesn’t show unless the coin is bombarded with light. That said, the slab photo makes me think the coin has a unique attractive appearance that is star worthy

I have one, but the picture of the toned side is not that great. I can try to get a better picture later tomorrow of this guy.....

@BuffaloHunter is it in a PCGS holder?
We're focusing on NGC coins in this thread, but I'm cool with doing a theoretical with a PCGS coin just for fun. Please do try to get a better photo (and please include both sides). :)

Yes, it is in a PCGS holder. My apologies, I lost track of rule #1 :wacky:
I'll work on getting some photos up in the morning. I've had this one for quite a few years and just love the reverse on it. The first picture does it no justice and hopefully I can get a good one tomorrow that better represents the beauty.

Okay, @ddddd , here's the pics I took this morning with my phone. Natural lighting and I feel they give a good look at how this thing actually looks. Thanks for indulging my rule breaking and I'm interested what the others think for a star or no star on this one. Myself, I'm on board with a star.

@BuffaloHunter I tend to like some of these darker toned examples (as long as they show good luster), but I’d say no star (I’ve seen quite a few of them that didn’t get it and I’d probably agree with that).
