Third Ancient Lot

    My third new coin has a bearded Emperor on obverse and weighs 14.48 g. Reverse has apparently a couple of temples, one over the other. There's a palm tree there as well.     That's a fantastic Septimius Severus, Amasia, Pontos great reverse.

    Thank you. I could never imagine Septimius Severus with that portrait and all these different features.

    Your coin is a lot scarcer than most of this type, congratulations.

    That's encouraging. I shall learn more to reach better skills in photography and prepare to post the remaining coins of the set. BTW.. I was offered a very unusual Byzantine coin, in matter of metal composition. Hope to post tomorrow.
