I will take some more picks some of the whole Coin here soon and post I am really only asking about the 58 theres an obvious doubling if it's not then idk what one is...
@Coop76 You can try to match it up to one of these. http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1958&die_id=1958d1do004&die_state=mds Learning the difference between all the different types of doubling can be difficult when one is starting out. It is going to take time. Your 58D seems to have a bit of DDD as Paddyman stated. Devices (letters numbers etc) tend to get distorted from repeated striking and any kind of mechanical malfunctions. Keep looking. Do you have Wexlers site? There is plenty of references for true DDO's and explanations of worthless doubling. There is a lot of good reading here. http://doubleddie.com/809586.html
I was afraid it was gonna be mechanical doubling it was too shelf like and rather uniform on the Center but not to worry I'm always on my grind looking/searching for more.
