Hi everyone, I am a Newb coin collector that has just started. I was wondering if these bumps on his neck worth keeping?

Those bumps are what collectors call zinc rot. This happens when the zinc reacts with water and other natural chemicals and forms bubbles from carbon dioxide. This is not an error nor something you would want to keep.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

Keep in mind that the Mint started making the Crappy Zincolns in 1982, so you are apt to find many, many, many Crappy Zincolns with all kinds of "diseases".

Thank you Chris! I am sure I will bug some of you asking about anything I have not been able to research. I am already enjoying the site here with a smile ;)

Don't be ashamed of asking. Asking questions is just about the best thing anyone in need of help can do.
