I'm so MAD! ..
I went to the deli this morning to get coffee and they gave me this weird looking Quarter as change.. It's not even perfectly centered!



It's a MAD - Misaligned Die Strike

Perfectly Centered! With some toning.

 

Take it back immediately and demand a 50% O/C in its place!

And to think that escaped a sharp collectors eye for 19 years!....

 

and remember never touch a coin except by the edges!!
Otherwise you'd think the mint made these for use as money.

 

I will gladly give you $1,000,000 for that because.....

 

Calm down Paddy, it's only a minor error and not worth much over face.

 

Worst case scenario for a collector - Based on the pictures it looks like the coin has not seen a whole lot of wear and a spouse or child (grandchild) got hold of it and spent it!
