was wondering if anyone can help me out. I have this penny that looks like it was doubled pressed when minted. The impression is really set in with the border edge being extra thick. the word liberty is missing the LI and the back side also has the same issue with United States of America being cut off. is this a rare error on the coins and is this something that could be worth more than a few pennies? :) thank you in advance.

Looks like a Cent that was once caught in a dryer..Flattened rim.
    Not a Mint Error.

In reference to the op's coin it looks like something has hit the 1 in the date and sliced down half way thru it and pushed the top part over towards the 6. I think this way because the top part of the 1 is so slim now.
