Ten years ago, Morgans were hot. A few decades ago, early commemorative spiked. What do you think is the next hot buy in the U.S. coin markets?
Whatever I HAVEN'T purchased until that market sector has cooled. I have a phenomenal talent for buying high and selling low. Steve
I have said many times, that the Liberty Seated Dime has always been tossed to the side. Not everyone's cup of tea but one of these days this series is going to gain some traction. Mintages on many dates are much lower compared to many other series that always seem to be more popular. There are tough keys as in most series but a nice mid grade collection is still possible. JMHO.
Considering the rising amount of government debt, I suspect old gold won’t be a shoddy place to be. (Statement of fact. No political responses, please, as per site rules).
The tough keys are very likely what holds back all the seated series from set collectors, and then it ran long enough that there's enough options for type collectors to not really cause extreme price swings. That said there are a number of dates in those series that really should cost more considering how hard it can be to find nice examples.
