When I started collecting euros from all the Euro-producing countries, I set a rule that I could not pay more than exchange for any euro coins. This way, I can offload this collection without worrying about getting my money back.

Well, I’ve finally sorted out all my euros and put together my sets. I am still missing 30
coins, but it’s time for me to move on and sell these off to make room (financially and physically). There’s a show tomorrow near Wiesbaden that I’ll be going to and I’ll try to sell the collection there. Likely, I’ll just sell for face value plus the cost of the binders. It has been a lot of fun putting this together. I filled any holes with coins to make it easier to price out. Missing coins:
-All Andorra coins (I swear I had one somewhere)
    - All Vatican City except 0.50€
-All Monaco except the 1€ and 2€
    -Malta 0.01€
    -Slovenia 2€
    -San Marino 0.01€, 0.02€ and 0.10€
    -Lithuania 0.02€, 0.20€
    -Estonia 0.01€, 0.05€

That's awesome. When I was in Germany for 5 weeks, I did my best to collect as many as possible. I got quite a few but not nearly enough.

I originally also went after ever 2€ coin minted. Eventually it just got too costly. I did keep a couple though. :)

I’d ask 3 different dealers how much they would pay and sell to the one who shows courtesy although it’s about Euro coins...

Very nice collection! About Vatican City Euros- they just seem to be very rare in general. I can't seem to find any except the 50 euro cent on ebay. When I was in Europe, I started saving the 1 euros from diff. countries, and have the Italian, German, Spanish, and Portugal coins.

Not rate at all, the mintage is almost always between 75k and 100k, except for a few years.

If you ever need one of anything, I see them at EVERY show here in Germany, just PM me.

I was also gifted a Vatican City 2€ coin, which I neglected to put into the set. That one stays with me :)

Yeah, I’m hoping for 200€. Honestly, if they offered me that or more, I’d probably just hand it out them and walk away. :)

I kept as many 1 and 2 Euro coins as I could.

The Vatican is required to issue at least half (51%) of its annual volume at face value - but of course they want to sell their sets. ;) So apart from very few pieces, it is always the 50 cent coins that can be obtained at face.

I should've tried to get some change when I visited the Vatican. I'm not sure where I pulled the 50 cent coin from, but I'm happy to find it :)

Haha, reminds me of a beer mix I tried once: Colaweizen. Hefeweizen and Coca Cola :meh:

Trust me, there are much worse beer mixes. That’s why I drink wine :)
