It's worth about 11 cents, but you have to get it to Europe to spend it, so you'll likely not get much of anything for it at a LCS. But if you do try to sell it there, send them my way, since I'm always buying euros from coin shops in the US
Yes in the US there's really no way to convert foreign coins, only currency. There is a site that will take all your foreign coins for around 30% face value.
I have people at work complain to me when they get a Euro or Canadian in their change. I tell them give it to me, I'll take it! Heck, I got enough free Canadians I bought myself a beer up there! Same with the Euros from Coin Roll Hunting. Actually it was probably about 3 drafts over in France but who was counting!
