:goof: Looks like either a plated or cleaned nickel to me. Lol, I am drawing a blank on what else to say about it, lol. Phoenix
"Please only email me with questions about my auctions and not your personal opinions. Thank you!" Sounds like this is not his first dance.
Nope looks smaller to me. I like the fact that if you know about the coin to let him know, yet you are not allowed to do anything but ask questions about his auctions.
Not only that, but if I use a ruler on my computer screen, jefferson's head is also smaller (say by about 6-8%)! It can't be the camera angle...
To: Seller Subject: Jefferson Nickel Auction Are you mental? Hey, he said no personal opinions!! Technically, I did ask a question....
I like these statements. "I have been collecting coins for about 25 years. I don't know much about the details of coins, I just see something different and enter it into my collection. This auction is your gain." Yeah right.
In high school shop class we use to sand blast nickels and other various items(please save your ridicule I was young) and this is exactly what the nickels looked like.
Oh my gosh! Isn't that a bunch of hooey? I have one that is much nicer than that, maybe I could auction it at a starting bid of 100K. A little more research on some of these type of websites might answer the question of what it is and what it might be worth. jeankay
