I like the die crack through the date on your dime, Larry. Love the "Circam" look on Mainebill's coin.

The Draped Bust design really got me interested in early U.S. coins. Here is my avatar coin, an 1805, 4 berries variety dime. I have now have many more pieces in all of the denominations.

I collect small capped bust quarter varieties in AU with colorful toning. My latest addition was this PCGS AU53 1834 B-1 O/F.

While this variety is common, this is a very rare early die state example from before the die remarriage that resulted in the vast majority of surviving examples. In this first die marriage, the dies were properly aligned, unlike the 45 degree rotation found with the remarriaged examples. Also on the reverse, the repunched A, F, and eagle claws are the most visible here compared to later examples struck after the dies had been serviced.

Here's my favorite example currently in my collection. I still have a draped bust cent on my wish list...….just haven't come across that perfect one for me yet.
