This steel cent has a serious retained die break on the right side of the reverse.

Is there any way to clean it up some so the break is more visible?

Sorry my small screen doesn't allow me to take full pics. Picture 011.jpg Picture 006.jpg Picture 007.jpg Picture 008.jpg

I'd have to see a better image of the anomaly before I suggest that you submit it for conservation. It might not even be worth the cost.

Thank you Chris. I tried several different ways to take better pics but they didn't come out any better. So, I'll forget about it.
I did see one on Cuds on Coins that is almost identical.

Imo - it's too corroded, and paying anything
for conservation will not help it much at all.

...and will not add value to the coin, as it will
still have those dark carbon spots.

Thank you Mr. Weinburg. Your opinion is appreciated.

Looks pretty badly corroded/damaged to me. IMHO, conservation would be a waste of money on this one.
