If you mean by basing my views/opinions upon fact as opposed to emotional conjecture, yes, I most certainly do.

You see, unlike you, I respect the fact you (appear to) like the guy. However, I also just happen to care more about this greater health of this hobby more than I do some YouTubers "right" to mislead and/or post BS in order to up his view/subscriber count (do notice how you've yet to dispute this fact). The irony here is that those of us willing to call this out this type of nonsense also care more about folks like you than you clearly do about yourselves. Go figure.

No. Unless it happens to be one of the more significant varieties known for the date, the rest are very common even today.

Yours looks like a normal strike.

The damage shown in the slab photo isn't shown in the Cert photo or CoinFacts photo. Maybe the damage you see is on the plastic.

A circulation strike. Not a circulated strike.
A coin ment for circulation is a known as a circulation strike. Its all just a misunderstanding.

I for one will stick up for Blue Ridge as he is a member of this community.
If you want a "real" good laugh- go to Etsy and look at the coins for sale. You'll get the picture.

Ahahaha! I read this whole thread as if it were posted yesterday;) Totally taken in. Amazing how a tad of confusion about the terms "circulation strike" and "circulated" could cost one a pretty penny;) ex. "Hi, I have a circulated 1979 LMC I'd like you to buy from me for 3k!"

The democratisation of information hasn't helped any experts get better, but has certainly sparked interest in those who may otherwise have not got involved. I won't bash the vociferous and enthusiastic or blame those that listen, having been one of the latter meself, but, there are levels to collecting coins that are quickly revealed when one tries to extract monetary value from one or get it graded. A couple of good burns from the grading companies will probably reorient one's reflexes and viewing habits;)

On Youtube, I prefer the Coingeek, because he wears glasses, doesn't smile a lot and is steps ahead of me in experience, but not so far I can't understand him. But then, every single one of these fellas has videos on cleaning coins, which, when they are undertaken in the interest of recognizing cleaned coins to avoid the above burns, I appreciate.

I make a few videos myself, but just to show recent acquisitions and the like, and I try to make clear to newbies that I'm a novice myself, something experts will realize from the first word. I'm all right if the riches of self promotion go to these guys, as long as the better coins go to the researchers;)
