Was back home for a visit last week and found my oldest teenage grandson was a budding coin addict. He and I visited his local shop and I selected a few nice affordable pieces for him and helped him get to know the charming shopkeeper.

Today I get a text.... Well more like a dozen texts. He took his entire paycheck and purchased a small bullion coin. The dealer made change in Ike’s and SBA’s..... Talk about getting a young man hooked! Or maybe it’s hereditary??

I hope the points on those staples are flattened on the back of the 2x2!

Are any of those Susie B's "Near Date"?

I don’t know. I am about a thousand miles away. But I will give him the schematics to figure it out.

Since he is just getting started, I think gramps should buy him a flat-cinch stapler if he continues to use the standard 2x2's.

My local coin shop owner does the same - he gives out presidential golden dollars and Sacagawea coins for part of the change.
