    It's a genuine strike-through error. Struck through a piece of debris.

    Wow, I'm stunned! Thanks so much, Mike. I just thought it looked a little odd for a post-strike as I couldn't think of a tool that would make that kind of impression. I'm just very glad you could see the detail you needed to in my photos (which, BTW, are never the greatest). Thanks, again. That's very interesting.

    Your stunned, I have put many a Wheat Cent back in the pile due to thinking that the "Red Rider" BB gun was very popular.

    Yeah isn't that funny? Or maybe sad at the same time. But I know what you mean, I almost didn't ask. I just couldn't figure that jagged outline as being caused by anything post-mint I knew of, so I gave it a whirl...
