I just got a lot of all silver Americans from feebay for a decent amount of money, and this one is the only one i am having trouble grading, the rest are all barbers and walking liberty's in a range of G4-EF45 and a few AU's in there but for some reason i am having trouble with this particular coin, It was originally slabbed by OCC and they graded it at a MS67 but we all know how they are! I have had coins re-graded by PCGS from them and it has come back as much as 4-5 grades lower so any help would be appreciated, thank you all, also I am new too the forums, and hope too become a most helpful member. I will upload my collection into a hosting site later on tonight. Can you repost the pictures in a smaller size? The guys on dialup will never be able to load them, and for the rest of us they require so much scrolling that we can't get the crucial overall view.
jmc: welcome to the forum. Nice coin, the obverse is terrific. Hard to tell from the reverse, the lighting seems off.
thank you much guys. selling as a 62 sorry to offend anyone who says it is a 63, but id rather play it safe.
Franklins give me fits but I do LOVE the obverse. Obverse 63 hard to see the reverse, kind of blurry. As Treashunt said nothing wrong with being conservative but I wouldn't feel wrong with 63 if the reverse is like the obverse.
Man, beautiful coin! Wow, hard to tell by the reverse, but the obverse looks pretty clean, nice. Not a 67 lol, but I'd say strong MS-63, maybe a MS-64. :thumb: Phoenix
