    Listen carefully.. Do not send it in. Your Dime is Damaged,
    Someone altered the Obverse. The missing upraised Rim is evidence of this. Before a Dime is struck the Blank which is flat is put through a process where the Rim is raised on both sides. That is not a Mint Error.

    You might ask why would someone do this? Because they can, they are bored and they want people who don't know about true Errors to be confused.
