Lamination Error?

This penny has a major error or PMD. I found it in circulation and was very confused at first. I did some research and a lamination peel is my best guess. Can you help me figure it out and maybe a price too?

I took it into my LCS and they didn't know what it was. I haven't ever seen a lamination error this big and they usually are on older pennies.
Thanks for confirming my research, but is it worth being graded?

 

Looks detached but peeled up and folded over and was compressed. Beautiful find.

 

If your LCS said they didn't know what it was I'd find another LCS.

You can grade any coin that's worthy.
For a Mint Error you sent it to have it Attributed. That's different. I would send it only if you plan to keep it. If you don't know much about Mint Errors then just keep it in a 2x2 and use it for show and tell.
