1928-B and C $5 Red Seal US Notes

Hey all, I picked these up today for a bargain price and wondered why the series changed. The signatures are the same, and I can’t immediately see any changes, so can anyone help me?

What is the difference between a 1928 B and a 1928 C?

Condition is a little bit rough especially on the C .

 

I believe it is due to the size of the plate numbers being enlarged. Take a look at the back of the notes and see if the font size of the plate numbers is noticeably larger on the 1928C than on the 1928B.

That,s an average price, for the condition have an older issue that says
$15.00 so call it $5.00 for inflation..LOL

They go with the 1928-A I picked up two weeks ago. Paid $10 for that one as well.

 

When they make a design change, the letter moves up.
Usually it's because of a different signature. But not in this case.
