Here they are - any and all comments are welcome. The 1809 was listed as O-109 prime(early die state) and yes a couple of them have been cleaned.

    I love the old stuff!

I'd take those over any new coin. Not to say the new coins are bad, just not my cup of tea.

    Nice group!

Very Nice... Just put them up with some old silver flatware and tea sets and they'll tone up again in no time. ;) The first one certainly looks like an O-109 but I can't be sure about the other two w/o my reference books which are in my jeep and the wife drove it into town to go shopping.

Yes - I was more than happy with them. I think I confirmed the attributes that were provided and you can see them in the pictures names.

I went to the local store today and this is one of the ones that I got - sorry dial-up users, but the die cracks are great on this 1836. He had about 15 in the back and I found this one. I went to the store planning on using their book to attribute the coins before buying - but (gasp) they had sold it. Turned out okay for me. Maybe tomorrow I will get some pictures up of the others.

I have a copy - I did not want to lug that big thing downtown to the store. And the trip was a last second thing - hey I am going the right direction I might as well visit the coin store. I have to pass the exit to goto nephews soccer game - the store is less than 5 minutes from the exit. As it is they should not have sold their copy - I thought it was too expensive. :)

Also at this point I am really only looking at dates - I want a date set first, then I might go for some other varieties. So the ones I bought yesterday (and those listed) first help fill in the date gap. Attibuting the coins is the next step. This what I also did with my large cents - dates first then worry about varieties. Now when I upgrade a large cent I just get a different variety - I need 6/7 dates and about 4 upgrades.
