You can view the recent news concerning the finds on 2000 P Lincoln Cent. You need a Adobe reader to view. Rhubarb http://home.sc.rr.com/stereo3dgames/DVN_Supplement_1.pdf
Thank you. That was good reading. The next question is, Are the "extra Beards" even worth holding on to now?
I plan to keep looking for them. For Die Clashes and MADs still have a little premium value. The severe die clashes that produced the bars in the pictures might be worth alittle more. Happy Hunting. Rhubarb
that was good reading. I had heard about the possibility of it being a DD in NN. I am not a collector of errors, and dont do a whole lot of roll searching at all. But, it is still good to know! Its funny how they can look at these coins and see things that are just nearly impossible to discern!
It is very interesting as I have several Lincoln Cents with extensions on the beard! I can't recall the Dates and/or Mints but I have one with almost a complete double beard which makes Lincoln look like an Amish Elder. Frank
I just wish people like that would put the articles in either HTML, or in files that aren't so large. I'm on Dial-up and I could only get the first page to load after a good long time. Speedy
I wish. Where I live they don't have the lines run out this far for anything...DLS, cable..... At work we have very high speed lines because of the type of work we do....but I can't just drive 15min. one way to check out a page. Adelv_unegv, Rhubarb was nice enough to email me the file---I saved it on the server so I can download later because at my speed it was going to take over 1hr to download. Speedy
