I purchased a 1958 Washington Quarter on-line some time ago. I think it looks great and could actually be the grade on the slab (MS-67) or perhaps, with bad luck get down one more grade at PCGS. But it is in an ANI slab. I will try in the next couple days to photo it, it has nice toning and I think really great appeal. I would prefer to have it in a PCGS slab, and maybe even CAC it, but I don't know if it is worth that extra expense. I have had it for a few/several years waiting for me to get better and more confident in my grading abilities. But does CAC do other slabs than the majors (if I decide it is not worth it to send to PCGS)?
Maybe I will take it to a show this weekend and if I find someone I think that might help judge it, maybe it might be worth getting it to PCGS sometime.
