My main interest is ancient coins but I got this from a bargain box because it looked and felt like something substantial. From the chrysanthemum flower, similar to those on Japanese swords, I am guessing it is Japanese. It seems to be of brass, is dated 1993 and has a reeded edge which has the repeating inscription in Roman letters, N T $ 50 and then a small diamond shaped image. Any help on identifying this coin and any value it has, IMG_0725[2160]yen 3.jpg IMG_0724[2162]yen.jpg appreciated.

Actually I think obols still circulate in the Grand Duchy of Fenwick.
