Looks like PMD, due to all of the scratches and such. Don't worry about it, I am sure you will find your fair share of errors if you keep looking.

I will have to disagree with this. This is definitely not PMD.

it looks very scratched and dented, like it was in a washing machine or something. I am no expert on errors but typically they do not come out looking like that. @paddyman98 could help us out, he is much better at this then me.

Aw, c'mon! Throw a dime on a concrete sidewalk and drag your foot across it. Don't be "shy anne". Please tell us what it looks like.

Why do you disagree? Are you a Mint Error specialist? I see circulation wear and tear.. I tell you this as a specialist after collecting for over 3 decades.

While it does has some PMD on it (scratches), it looks like it could maybe (just maybe) have been struck through grease. Maybe. Or it could just have been heavily worn before getting scratched up. I dunno.

Aw, c'mon to you as well, "Mr. Van"!;)

Even if there were evidence of a grease-filled die (Maybe!) GFD's are a "dime a million dozen".

Rim damaged (PMD) and struck from
a worn or overused die. Not an error, sorry.

I think that worn dye is definitely more like it I don't think that the melted effect looks PMD at all but I believe that the scratches are def PMD. No matter how you look at it it is an extremely interesting coun to see in person. But that's what my thoughts were on it from the get go. But really it truly is cool in person.

They don't use dye to make coins.. they use a Die
You obviously know nothing about the minting process.

It's worth face value. There is some PMD but it is also worn and probably struck by an older Die.
