Thank you esp. The CCAC or CFA are meeting in March to discuss this. We'll see what they come up with.

Nice job putting these together. I like the 3rd from the top.

I too like #3, but they should just cancel the series. I really dont think that they will circulate, most people don't really give a hoot about them anyway. (that would make my Adams price go up).. : )

Number 4, get the motto out of sight as much as possible.

    My favorite is number 1...

I like number one, but number three is by far my favorite. Now if they would just put the mintmark where it can be seen in the rolls.
Great job, by the way, on the designs.:thumb:

Has anyone heard any more about this? The meeting was supposed to happen in March, but no news came about from it. Perhaps they put it off until later. They are meeting today.

    Nice job !

So nice that I'm having a hard time making up my mind. Yes, I like them all.

#1 or #3. Those are my faves.

Here's my version. "In God We Trust" is printed in microfont inside Liberty's nostril.

Has anyone heard any more news on this? I've thoughi of other options but haven't had time to render them.

    6) Change the font for the text "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" to match the text of the obverse and make it slightly smaller to fit the motto in the existing space without changing the statue position or size.

    7) Remove the ring below the text "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and reposition the text in an arc along the lower left side of the arm on two lines and place the motto above and to the right of the arm on two lines arced against the rim if necessary.

I would think they would reveal these designs soon. But, technology upgrades to the design and manufacture progress at the Mint means that the timing from concept to coin die is greatly diminished nowadays. We may not hear about this until January next year.

The last I heard was the CFA/CCAC gave the option to the Mint to decide. Of course, all designs must be approved by the treasury secretery.

Coin World is reporting that the US Mint will put "In God We Trust" on the Obverse, totally ignoring recommendations of the CCAC and CFA.

And here they are. They put I God We Trust exactly where the CFA advised them not to.

Exactly. Now, it is going to mess up the continuity of the series. They should have put it on the reverse.

When I saw the article in coin world, I immediately thought of this exact post. Of all the places they could have placed the motto, that was absolutely the worst location. It doesn't even look right. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!
