It looks like a high end Mint State piece to me, something like MS-66 or 67. When you get the top grades like this, you really have to see the coin in person.

Beautiful coin, but I'm not qualified to guess a grade. I suppose I need to have one approaching this quality, but I suspect that this one is way beyond my pay grade.
Mint State 1913 Type I Buffalo Nickels were saved in quantity and are not rare. You can buy a nice MS-64 for well under $100. An MS-65 will be around $120. It only gets really expensive, e.g. $900, in MS-67.
