I recently won a lot of cut coins to add to my growing collection. I have a box of 50 not well defined Roman Imperial coins headed my way. Anyone else have a thing for cut coins? The collection: The coins are grouped by type and lot purchases. The top left 7 coins are a lot of 10 half As coins. I use these coins at our coin club table at the San Jacinto Festival ( the next one is April 13th). Most folks like holding 150 BC coins. The next three are an anonymous As; an As of C. Vibius C.f. Pansa 90 BC. Crawford 342/7e and a bronze of Octavian, Crawford 535/2. The bottom coin is out of place. It is a semiuncia. The middle group of 8 coins are Julius Caesar - Octavian / ship coins. The bottom 3 are Augustus - Agrippi / crocodile coins. The top two coins on the right are an anonymous (I think) Roma / Dioscuri denarius and a nymph / man-headed bull stater. bottom 4 coins on the right are an As from Spain and three coins of Nero. I was able to attribute the Spanish and two of the Nero coins. You can see more on these here: http://rrdenarius.blogspot.com/

What a fun assortment! I have no halved coins but would like a Nemausus Augusta and Agrippa half someday.
How fun! It appears that you "halve" both halves of the same coin! Did they come together or did you happen across them like that? (Derp. Edit. I just realized you won all of these in a single lot. I should ask that question to whom ever you won it from) Here is a 1/2 to 3/4 coin that I have had since near the beginning of my collecting days...
