They are Star notes (look at the last digit of the serial, to the right) and they are all consecutive (meanign all the serial numbers are in order). It is a very nice find!

If you need to get rid of the notes in a hurry, which i can understand seeing the investment of keeping them all, try Ebay. It really is a good guage as to the daily value of an item.

Another strategy when calling dealers is to call and tell them you have 5 consecutively numbered $100 bills. If they offer anything over face, show up with 10. You may get lucky and get the offered price for all 10. when they ask, tell them you stopped back at the bank where you got them (on your way to their shop) and found they had 5 more. When calling all the dealers, always offer up the exact same quantity. Not all dealers are loners and some do talk to each other. This way, if two dealers offer anything over face and talk to each other, they may not realize immediately that you are going to show up at both shops with 10 each. Have a friend help you out so you can walk into both shops at the exact same time (not like they are going to call or talk to each other while you are physically in the shop).

    Good Luck

By the way RickieB, I got another $100 Star Note as well as a 2004 $20 Star Note from my bank yesterday. I was on vacation last week and they had set them aside for me.
