Here is another Galerius Ant. from Lugdunum after the one I shared here recently:-
    https://www.cointalk.com/threads/galerius-ant-from-lugdunum.331491/

Obv:– GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS NOB C, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right
Rev:– IOVI AVGG, Jupiter seated left, holding victory on globe in right hand and leaning on scepter in left hand
Minted in Lugdunum (//I). Emission 11, Officina 3. November to End A.D. 293
    Reference(s) – Cohen 115. Bastien -. Bastien Suppl I -. Bastien Suppl II 537 Alpha (2 examples cited). RIC 679 Bust Type C (C)

Rated common in RIC but no examples cited in Bastien or Bastien Suppl. I and only 2 examples cited in Bastien Supplement II.

    3.96 gms, 23.38 mm. 0 degrees

Is this an example of a coin described as Common in RIC V but turns out to be harder to find in reality?

Definitely rare. I've come across only one of this type and it was a different officina.

Ok if I add this to my database? I'd like to add it to my work on this emperor. I would also like your name if possible.

Great coin! I don't have any Galerius from Lugdunum but the much more common Maximian and Diocletian of a different reverse.

I meant to ask for your last name via a private message but I don't know how to do this :-(
If you'd rather your name not be published then ignore this request. Again, thanks!
